This online memorial was created in loving memory of Joseph Schroeter, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Joseph's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Joseph forever.
Joe (JC) was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He was so proud of his son Jack, and was only on this earth with him for 6 months. His spirit lives on with all of us whom he touched.
JC was born on Deceber 21, 1982, at home in Graniteville, VT to Melissa Anne and Jospeh Henry Schroeter. He married his high school sweetheart, Sara Rose, on October 31, 2005. Their son, Jack Dermott, was born March 23, 2006.
JC was a fierce protector of those he loved. His younger brother James, Sara's two younger siblings Chris and Danielle, Sara, Jack, his mother. He was there for everyone until he was gone.

Joe loved physical exercise, and was crazy about martial arts. He was studying at Rockland Community College to become a personal trainer at the time of his death. He loved various music, hard metal to classic rock. He was looking forward to seeing The Red Hot Chili Peppers when he died.

Sadly, Joe's wife Sara Rose died a year and half after he passed away. Their son, Jack was adopted by Joe's best friend, Nick and his wife. He has both his biologic and adoptive family loving him and keeping the memory of both his biologic parents alive for him. Our families are close knit and keep going forward for Jack.
