This online memorial was created in loving memory of Ryan Wall, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Ryan's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Ryan forever.
Ryan came into this world on June 19, 1975 to Kimberly Hughes and Buddy Wall. He was a beautiful blonde baby boy who instantly captured the hearts of all of his family. He was the first grandchild born into Kim’s side of the family and as such was doted upon. He was an exceptionally bright child with a rich imagination. As a child he loved to climb in trees, build elaborate Lego structures, set up GI Joe’s and listen to music. An early favorite was Dolly Parton, both for her voice and pretty face. As Ryan grew older his musical taste became vast and deeply important to him, his favorite band being Credence Clearwater. He loved to read and could often be found with his nose in a book. He was a talented writer with the dreams to one day become a published author.
Ryan was always interested in history, in great battles and in science fiction. He took great pride in being an American and served in the Army Reserve after high school. He was a film buff and could quote lines from almost any popular movie in recent history and would happily mimic a character to entertain others. Ryan had a talent for making people laugh and used this gift to ease the pain of others and help them see the brighter side of life. He was always very warm hearted and empathetic with his family, friends and even complete strangers. He had an especially soft spot for furry creatures, in particular dogs. Ryan spent much of his youth in both Colorado and Utah until eventually making his way back home to Texas.
Ryan was excited to welcome a baby sister into his life at the age of eight years old. Unlike many siblings, Ryan was not jealous but instantly protective and loving. His younger sister thought her older brother was the coolest guy in the world and looked forward to each time they would get to visit. While the two siblings did not grow up under the same roof, they had an unbreakable bond that developed into a lasting friendship.
Ryan was adored by both his Mother and Father. He had a close bond with each of his parents. To them he was a son, a friend, a confidant, and a bright light in both of their lives. An only child to Buddy and the oldest to Kim, Ryan held a place that can never be taken within their hearts.
Ryan will be deeply missed by his family and will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those that love him.
